In late 2015 I was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, and the cancer was and remains inoperable. I took the radiation and chemo and spent the better part of 2016 recovering from those treatments. It was a difficult time and I need to thank my wife Rohey, for her unending support and encouragement.
She made sure I made every appointment, got every treatment, and never allowed me to get down or discouraged. She has given me so much more than I could have ever expected or asked for, and it’s my firm belief I have thus far survived only due to her amazing love and strength. She has been saving me from the beginning, from the first I met her. She is the most extraordinary woman and human being I have ever known, and she has, to borrow a phrase, saved me in every way a person can be saved.
Thank you Rohey. My wife, my love, my friend… my everything. I do and will love you for all of time, in this and every life that is mine.
